Last Wednesday, November 7th, the poetry activity programmed by the English teachers took place at lunch time in the library with participation of some students of 10th and 12th grade. The purpose was to share and recite original poems written by the students in English. Poetry Splash provided the students a small space for them to share their creativity in the use of the language, demonstrate mastery of figurative devices through poetry, and reinforce public speaking. ~~Bethmariz Machuca, English Department Coordinator.
